Pet Emergencies & Urgent Care

We provide emergency treatment during our normal hours of operation.

Fast, responsible caretaking is critical when an emergency occurs. Our skilled technicians and knowledgeable veterinarians work together seamlessly to quickly respond to your ailing pet. Please call our office the moment an accident happens, or just bring your pet in with no appointment necessary. However, when given notice before you and your pet arrive, we can prepare for all services that might be necessary.

If you have an emergency outside of our normal operating hours, when you call our hospital, you will receive a message that will refer you to the closest emergency hospital to you.

We see pets for any of the following crises requiring urgent attention:

  • Critical injuries or trauma (car accident, broken bone, animal attack).
  • Diarrhea or vomiting that continues for long periods of time.
  • Excessive bleeding.
  • Fever, shock, or depression.
  • Poison ingestion (suspected or observed).
  • Severe pain, collapse, seizure
  • Trouble breathing or continual coughing.

If you think your pet may have ingested poisonous items and our office is not currently open, we advise you to call the American Association of Poison Control Centers at 1-800-222-1222 for assistance.

Please contact us if you have any further questions or would like to schedule an appointment. We are here for you and your pet.
